Egocentric Space Lines brings together work by artists Jess Flood-Paddock, Nicholas Hatfull, and Maria Zahle. The exhibition questions how we relate to, and give order to the visual world around us by suggesting how the surreal imagination might work in parallel to what Philip K. Dick describes as an everyday process of ‘discounting’ meaning.
Join us for drinks and small bites at the launch of a series of specially commissioned prints by artists including Nicolas Deshayes, Rose Kallal, Una Knox, Lawrence Leaman, David Osbaldeston, Laure Prouvost and Mark Titchner and T Shirt Party.
This exhibition has also been the catalyst for a new dance-based project initiated by Murphy and Owens. The outcome of this project, which examines movement and expression at the perimeter of production, will be realised later this year.
